Aaron Delgado - State v. J.P.

Facts of the Case:

The State alleged that our client attacked a man at his home and then, while attempting to flee, struck the alleged victim’s fiancé with his vehicle. Our attorneys first set their sights on the aggravated battery charge, getting the State to instead file it as a simple misdemeanor battery. Our attorneys then worked out a plea deal with the State wherein adjudication was withheld as to the battery charge and the reckless driving charge was dismissed altogether.

Case Result:

The aggravated battery charge was not filed, adjudication withheld on the battery charge, and the reckless driving charge was dismissed.
