Facts of the Case:

The State alleged that our client had struck an individual in the neck with a glass bottle, originally contemplating a charge of aggravated battery with a deadly weapon. Our attorneys were able to convince the State to instead file a charge of misdemeanor common battery. We were then able to work out a deferred prosecution agreement, which would result in the charge being dismissed when successfully completed.
