In the vast majority of our criminal cases, we work on a single flat fee for our legal services; costs are always invoiced separately. Since so few cases go to trial, we do usually charge a separate fee for trial. Legal fees in a criminal case are paid when we begin working for you, although we do not always require the balance to be paid in full when we begin representation. Everything we agree on will be turned into a detailed contract explaining exactly what work we will be doing, what you can expect, and what is expected of you.
