Daytona Criminal Defense Attorney

I was raised in DeLand, FL, where I went to DeLand High School. While at DeLand High, I participated in both Varsity Football and Weightlifting. After High School, I attended Florida State University where I majored in Political Science and minored in Criminology. While at Florida State, I interned with my Congressman for a summer in his Washington, DC office. After receiving my undergraduate degree, I attended The University of Florida Levin College of Law, where I graduated with honors and in the top 15 percent of my class. During my time in law school, I interned at the Department of Justice in Washington, DC, where I worked on international drug trafficking cases. I also interned at the United States Attorney's Office for the Northern District of Florida. Based on my coursework and internships I was awarded a Criminal Justice Certificate.

Following law school I accepted a position as an Assistant State Attorney with the 15th Judicial Circuit in West Palm Beach. During my time in the 15th, I prosecuted thousands of cases ranging from DUI to Attempted Murder, and tried over 30 jury trials. Almost 5 years at the State Attorney's Office, I left to get experience in civil litigation with two firms in Orlando. I gained valuable experience and insight in those positions that helped strengthen me as an attorney and, more specifically, as a litigator. Following my work in the civil arena, I decided it was time to move closer to my roots and accepted a job with the State Attorney's Office in Daytona Beach. While in that office, I handled thousands of criminal cases, including first degree felonies punishable by life. It was during my time in that office that I was able to meet and work opposite of Aaron Delgado. Those interactions made me respect and admire his legal skill and the passion he had in representing his clients.

Outside of the office I enjoy taking trips and spending time with my family. I am also an avid college and professional sports fan who follows the Florida State Seminoles, New York Jets, New York Yankees, and Orlando Magic.
