McKenna Mundy was born and raised in Memphis, Tennessee where she lived until attending The University of Alabama to pursue her undergraduate degree. During her Summer and Winter breaks from college she had the opportunity to intern with a criminal defense firm back in Memphis which sparked her initial interest in criminal law. She graduated cum laude from The University of Alabama’s Honors College with a double major in Political Science and Philosophy.
After graduating Alabama, she attended Florida State University College of Law in Tallahassee, Florida. While at Florida State, McKenna took a variety of criminal law based classes and was able to secure externships at both the Second Circuit’s State Attorney’s Office and Public Defender’s Office where she gained firsthand experience on both sides of criminal litigation.
Upon graduation, McKenna accepted a job with the Seventh Circuit’s State Attorney’s Office in Volusia County, Florida where she spent the first few years of her career. While working as an Assistant State Attorney, McKenna handled thousands of criminal cases and prosecuted a wide variety of charges which allowed her to further develop her knowledge of criminal law and litigation.
She is excited to now put these skills to use advocating on the other side of justice by working as a Criminal Defense Attorney for Delgado and Associates. Outside of work, McKenna enjoys traveling, reading, cheering on the Alabama Crimson Tide, and spending time with her dog, Ham.
