Criminal Defense Attorney Wins Brazilian Jiu Jitsu World Title

Delgado Romanik & and Fight sports Daytona congratulate partner Aaron D. Delgado on dominating his division and winning the gold medal at the 2012 Pan American Games in New York City, New York. A black belt in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu, Delgado submitted both his opponents to win the title. This win comes only a few months after being awarded his black belt by Professors Roberto "Cyborg" Abreu and Todd Cutler.

Delgado has been training in Brazilian Jiu Jitsu since law school. Discussing his hobby, he draws many comparisons between the mat and the court room. "The hours of behind the scene preparation, the adrenaline, and the intense competition is the same in a trial or in a championship match. Both sides come prepared to win and only one can. Not everyone wants to compete or put it on the line. But for me, that is when I am the happiest."

Back in Daytona Beach, Delgado continues to train for his next competition in Miami Beach while preparing for a busy trial season at his firm.
